Apr 08, 2013The Access Policy Manager Portal Access Guide has a pretty good description of the types of webtops, but essentially a webtop is a "resting" page. It is the resultant document presented to the client (browser) on successful evaluation of the access policy. It can contain icons/links to other objects (ie. Citrix apps/desktops, VMware View desktops, portal resources, links, folders, etc.). It can also hold the assigned portal and network resources.
From the guide:
• A network access webtop provides a webtop for an access policy branch to which you assign only a network access resource.
• A portal access webtop provides a webtop for an access policy branch to which you assign only portal access resources.
• A full webtop provides an access policy ending for an access policy branch to which you can optionally assign portal access resources, app tunnels, remote desktops, and webtop links, in addition to a network access tunnel. he full webtop then provides your clients with a web page on which they can choose a network access connection to start.
