APM - Vmware horizon... getting to my-vdi-page.com/admin

We're in the process of deploying Vmware Horizon using APM. The server tech wants to be able to connect directly to the admin page using (for example) "my-vdi-page.com/admin". However it doesn't work, even after getting to the webtop page with the various VDI links. Is anyone else doing this? Would it need to be added as a link along with the other VDI link/icons?
