APM - LDAP Query for a group object

Could anyone confirm if APM can perform an LDAP query to get attributes of a group object? Like the attribute "member".

 

The regular AD Query object from VPE seems to be hardcoded to perform queries only for user objects. The reason of the question is following.

 

There are two AD domains, A and B, linked by a trust. Users of the domain A are added to a group of the domain B. I would like to query this group attributes to get membership of users.
