Anyone else having problems editing a question/discussion they created?

the edit option has worked better in the past.

i dont get weird code blocks, but the text box is shifted odly to the right.

saving works.

Same here; if you do editing after posting and have some formatting, especially special characters * , ^, bolding,... etc, most probably some of the formatting breaks after editing. Has been like that for quite a long time.

In my view, it is not better than before.. so try to get your saying right in the first place, think twice what you post, and you will get better posts, too :o)

When comes to editing the post I use firefox. That seems to work. (edited)
