Airwatch - APM Endpoint Management System

APM Version 12.1.2 I'm following this document on configuring Airwatch with F5 Endpoint Management System - https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_apm/manuals/product/apm-client-configuration-12-0-0/7.html?sr=56554427

 

I have configured everything down to the last step of building the VS. Part 5 of "Creating a virtual server for endpoint managemnet": In the Destination Address field, type the IP address for the external endpoint management system. When you type the IP address for a single host, it is not necessary to append a prefix to the address.Note: This IP address must match a server address configured in the endpoint management system.

 

The part that I don't understand is Note: This IP address must match a server address configured in the endpoint management system. Does the IP of the VS have to be the same IP as the endpoint management system?

 

I would think these would be two different IPs. The F5 is the edge device with a public IP and the Airwatch server(endpoint management system) is on an internal IP.
