After login app page is not showing java script error.
Guys help me out. When trying to access web server directly on https app works fine. bus when trying through F5 LTM (only one web server in pool) client ssl and server ssl profile applied. User able to open the login page but after putting credentials there is written java script error in the bottom of the screen and page does not opens.
Please tell me F5 have anything to do with it? This was working fine few days ago and we haven't changed anything. they are putting it on F5 as its working normally without F5. Please tell me what could be the problem.

can you provide the corresponding virtual server configuration - tmsh list ltm virtual (vs-name)? - ltm virtual Siebel-VS { auto-lasthop enabled cmp-enabled no destination 10.50.171.5:upnotifyp disabled ip-protocol tcp mask 255.255.255.255 persist { SIEBEL_APPLICATION_HTTP.app/SIEBEL_APPLICATION_HTTP_web_cookie_persisten ce_profile { default yes } } pool Siebel-pool profiles { Anaylytics1 { } ServerSSl_New { context serverside } Siebel-Client { context clientside } http { } tcp { } } rules { logging_iRule } source 0.0.0.0/0 source-address-translation { type automap } vs-index 28 } ltm virtual Tibco-FT-BSD { auto-lasthop enabled destination 10.50.171.14:ftp ip-protocol tcp mask 255.255.255.255 pool Tibco-FT-BSD profiles { ftp { } tcp { } } rules {

the error is not from the f5, it's a siebel error. to troubleshoot, try removing profiles and testing again. Start by removing the analytics profile, then the persistence profile, irule, http profile, etc. to discover where the issue is.
- Yes so far i searched it looks like siebel error but open directly it does not show this error. through F5 it shows this error. Does it look like a java script error?

analytics profiles will insert client-side javascript for some options (https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/800/sol13849.html). i suggest removing some profiles to see if any are having interoperability issues with the app - I removed all the profile but the problem is still there.

can you also post the logging_iRule and the persistence profile? it looks like you tried using an iapp - is there a reason you are no longer using the iapp? - I removed the logging_iRule and persistence profile as well. Yes i was using iapp but customized. But now shifted back to self made VS, simplest config now which was working before, even iapp was working perfectly before.
- They say that they login successfully first time but links inside pages don't work and when they logon they see this error and can not login again. Application guys recently upgraded something with DB. DOn't know what could be the issue. but as long as app is opening without F5 they are blaming everying on me. ahhh

we've all been there, no worries. it may be worthwhile opening an f5 support case for assistance. sometimes it helps put other people at ease when they know F5 is officially involved. are the pool members also configured on port 8443? are the links having issues absolute or relative URLs? - yes pool members are also on 4443. Now only one pool member is enabled as they previous 8 webservers which were working perfectly with F5 are down for some problem so newly configured web server is having this problem. its https from client to F5 and https from F5 to webserver as well. sorry i am a network guy what do you mean by absolute or relative?
