AFM losing its configuration

Hi, guys!

 

I'm configuring an AFM here that is losing its configuration frequently. I was blaming the customer in the beginning, but once I started to watch this behavior closely, I noted that the configuration is actually being lost without anyone touching the configuration, confirmed by configuration time shown in device group list. I just note that the policy stopped working after a few days and, accessing the 'Active Rules' screen, I see that the global rules are not enabled anymore. We are using BIG-IP 11.6.0 Build 4.0.420 Hotfix HF4.

 

Have someone ever faced this kind of problem with AFM Network Firewall? Can we consider this a bug?

    i would certainly consider this as a bug if it happens as described. hopefully you also reported this to support, if not please do so.

    Yes.. Of course I did!! :D They tried to blame an old AFM bug (SOL15924), but I'm arguing that this is a new one. The configuration looks perfect in 'bigip_base.conf', but it's not being applied in device (traffic not being permitted or dropped as it should) and not being shown in the web interface page. Clearly a bug, at least for me.
