advice using xenapp iapp

folks

 

I'm installing the latest iapp on 11.6 (APM) to allow external users to connect to a storefront service on the inside and have a query I'm hoping you can help with

 

I'm not very familiar with citrix so apologies if my question sounds naïve

 

when I configure the iapp its looks to set up two vservers, one for storefront and another for the xml broker (ddc)

 

I expected a single vserver, for storefront

 

is the ddc vserver required and if so, must it be public facing?

    Not really. while configurign the iApp it would be considered that you are using lb for DDC as well.

     

    If you dont want to use lb for DDC, then on the storefront server you make the changes which can talk to DDC directly instead of sending back to big IP.
