Additional http port

We have a pair of F5 BIG-IP's that we have a http iApp running on.   Obviously this uses port 80 but one of the systems that we would like to go through this iApp needs a different port.   Can ...

If 'UI' is a DNS name, then probably it is easy to implement.

 

  • Create a iapp with name UI_2
  • Give same IP address as UI
  • Give the port number as 9010
  • Create the nodes and give the port as 9010.
  • Select the appropriate profile and monitor configs
  • Save the iapp.

Let's say UI resolve to 1.1.1.1, the client access will go to UI vip with ip 1.1.1.1:80 and will go to UI_2 VIP with ip 1.1.1.1:9010
