adding more CPUs in VCMP guest active standby device

i want to add more cpu on vcmp guests

1. backup config

2. makesure all guest on vcmp host standby

3. change to configure all guests

4. add cpu 

5. change configure to deployed state

should i forced offline mode on standby guest and change automatic sync to manual to prefent something on active guests
