Active Connection inquiry

Hi all, would like to know more about active connections. Would like to know if there is any way I can verify if traffic in active connections are healthy or is there a threshold of some sort that should be aware of? We have three systems using F5 LTM and one site had very high active connections compared to the other two. traffic is around 40M compared to just 20M for two other sites despite having similar throughput passing through. Anywhere I can check on if something is wrong?
