Feb 24, 2009Active - Passive Nodes
I would like to do an active - passive config with two servers here.
I was under the impression that I could just do a roundrobin priority-1 priority-2 type of thing and the priority-2 server would never get hit as long as priority-1 server was up.
I was wrong and the priority-2 server is getting traffic also.
Does anyone know of a better way to do this? Do I have to use an irule?
Keep in mind that I am using 4.5.12
Can I use a fallback host to do this?

- Deb_Allen_18Historic F5 AccountThe 9.x solution is here:
Single Node Persistence - Click here
don't think there was a persist command in 4.x to construct the equivalent for 4.x, but you might try posting that question over in the iRules v4.x forum (Click here)
