activate F5-ADD-BIG-USER-10K license

Hello,

 

I'm trying to activate the F5-ADD-BIG-USER-10K license on a couple of F5 boxes. I received the ADD-ON licenses key together with a serial number. The serial number is not the one of any of my F5 machines. Can I just use the license key on any of my F5 box ?

 

I tried to activate this ADD-ON licences key (described here: http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/7000/700/sol7752.html section "Activating an Add-On module"). When I finish doing that, I get logged out, when logging in again there is a messge "The configuration has not yet loaded. If this message persists, it may indicate a configuration problem." I see in the license seciton of the system however that this license is now active, however, looks like the configuration does not want to be loaded anymore...

    Do you see anything in /var/log/ltm?

     

    If you load the config in TMSH (tmsh load sys config) do you see any errors here?

    I investigated the LTM logs, it seems at a certain moment the F5 could not load "/Common/system_auth_name1" anymore. I removed the radius config in the /config/bigip.conf file, loaded the config again and then the issue was resolved.
