Abnormal Swap Memory usage due to umem process usage

BIG-IP 10250 BIG-IP v13.0.0 (Build 0.0.1645)

 

There is an abnormal swap memory usage regarding umem process in a BIG-IP which is strange and I need to know the root cause , once i tried to "bigstart restart tmm" and it was working fine but after 3-4 days , again the swap memory starts to increase and the process I found is umem which occupies a large proportional of swap memory , I need to know how to handle this issue, here is some more snapshot from the BIG-IP :

    Hi,

    I have a customer who have the same issue and need to reboot the appliance once a week since he upgraded to 13.0.0.

    with this issue, he have lots of error messages in /var/log/ltm :

    CMI heartbeat timer expired

    he opened a support case and the support provide a EngHF. I don't know yet if it solved the issue.

    Look if you have same logs in /var/log/message and open a support case.

    even if it is not the same issue, open a support case.
