2003 standard 32 bit management server install failed

This is the second of two Management Servers (ADMIN01). The first install of RMS/Management server install went fine (SCOM01.) Getting some authentication issues during installation. It appears it is trying to connect to the OM SQL server using the computer name instead of the user I supplied. Here is where I see the first failure from the log. Note the SQL database is on a third server and is installed. <06-22-2010 03:16:22> Info: Installer stage: Sql.Database STARTING <06-22-2010 03:16:22> Info: Installer Stage[Sql.Database]: action=Custom Install Action: Install, state=Starting <06-22-2010 03:16:23> Warning: Installer Stage[Sql.Database]: action=Custom Install Action: Install, duration=734.4ms, state=Failure[Operations Manager authentication failed: SCOM01.Mydomain.local User: MYDOMAIN\ADMIN01$] <06-22-2010 03:16:23> Warning: Installer stage: Sql.Database FAILED <06-22-2010 03:16:23> FatalError: Unexpected fatal error logged: F5Networks.F5Exception: Operations Manager authentication failed: SCOM01.Mydomain.local User: mydomain\ADMIN01$ ---> F5Networks.ManagementPack.DataAccess.DataAuthorizationException: Operations Manager authentication failed: SCOM01.mydomain.local User: mydomain\ADMIN01$ ---> Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Common.UnauthorizedAccessMonitoringException: The user mydomain\ADMIN01$ does not have sufficient permission to perform the operation. Any ideas? I tried a few run as credentials that are domain admins and they are failing. I see nothing obviously different with this server and the first server (which worked) except for the OS. The First server is 2008 R2 64 this is 2003 R2 standard.

    Hello,

Can you please email us the entire setup.log file from both ADMIN01 and SCOM01 to ? The OS difference shouldn't be causing this issue, and the SQL Custom Action shouldn't even be running on the 2nd server either (I'm assuming ADMIN01 is not an RMS server, correct?). Those logs contain all of the information we need to help you to troubleshoot this issue further.

    Thanks,
