What does Automatic Phone Home do? What information is sent?
What does Automatic Update Check do? What information is sent?
K15000: "Using the Automatic Update Check feature" does not clarify the differences between the two.

As described in the K15000, Automatic Update Check enables the system to check the F5 downloads server for software updates for your system (releases, hotfixes, EUD updates, Geolocation, etc).
