Unable to grant license key: Error 51092
Hi, after pasting the dossier to https://activate.f5.com/license/license.do I get this reply: Unable to grant license key: Error 51092, This license has already been activated on a different unit. Please contact technical support for assistance I had to reinstall the loadbalancer, since I got the underlying linux in such a state that it would not boot. I had naturally tried the license registration, but the phone home function was not working at that point. how can we fix this licensing issue? ilariLicense re-activation process
Hello! One of those nitty gritty questions if I may? If a system requires reactivating the license or not is determined by the data for the specific version being downloaded or the expiration date of your service contract with F5 (I think?)? The re-activation process documented here: https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K7727 But, if that's the case, how did my colleague (let's call him "Q") manage this? jamesbond@(MYLB)(cfg-sync In Sync)(Active)(/Common)(tmos) show sys license;show sys version Sys::License Licensed On 2016/10/18 Service Check Date 2016/11/21 Sys::Version Main Package Product BIG-IP Version 12.1.2 Build 0.0.249 Edition Final Date Wed Nov 30 16:04:00 PST 2016 As you can see, it does not seem like "Q" activated the license prior to upgrading to 12.1.2 as the service check date is 2016/11/21 while the KB article specifies 2016-11-29 . Though I would have expected the process to force him to do so upon reboot, but clearly this has not happened? My colleague is a certified ninja so that might be the reason, but just in case: What did I miss? /Patrik

Hi all, can i re-activate F5 LTM evaluation license when it almost reaches 90 days ? because there's delay in getting the license PO approval and it would take some effect to redeploy the ova and restore the backup. I'm just looking if I could re-activate it for another 90 days.
How to programmatically activate license for Bigip using C#
I am looking for some C sample to activate license for Bigip. I have looked into the pycontrol https://devcentral.f5.com/wiki/iControl.pyControl-v2-License-BIGIP.ashx and am trying to do the similar thing in C. License upgrade (F5-ADD-BIG-2200S) in HA active/standby BIG-IP
Hi community, We run a pair of BIG-IP 2000 in an active/standby HA setup. To increase capacity we bought a license upgrade to BIG-IP 2200 (F5-ADD-BIG-2200S). Can anyone tell me if there is an interruption in traffic processing while doing the license upgrade? My plan is to: perform UCS backup of both systems upgrade the standby system first check status failover the traffic group to the standby system check again then perform the upgrade on the other node failover the traffic group again check again Support told me that there is no guarantee that there will not be any traffic disruption... adding bigip VM to BIgiq is throwing this exception
Hi, I am trying to discover the bigip LTE VM from BIGIQ VM GUI. I am getting the following exception and I am not sure why. Key already exists: groupName : cm-autodeploy-group-manager-autodeployment [I][2586][15 Jun 2015 23:52:24 UTC][8100/shared/device-discovery-tasks DeviceDiscoveryTaskCollectionWorker][completed] On device 192.168.6.157, patched device-group cm-autodeploy-group-manager-autodeployment key pair. That device can no longer communicate with devices using the old key. Can anyone please do let me know what's happening here? We are seeing this issues after we re-activated the expired license for BIGIQ.add on keys in service agreement document
Hi, I am deploying f5 ltm on client site for first time. Client has forwarded me service agreement he received from F5. Now that agreement document contains 12 line items for F5-ADD-BIG-ROUTING and 2 line items for LTM-2000S. So I understand, that client has 2 F5 LTM servers and 12 F5-ADD-BIG-ROUTING line items are for 12 add-on keys present in email body needed to be used during license activation. My question is, do i need to use 6 add on keys for each server during license activation(first 6 for one server and later 6 for another) or all 12 keys for both servers. I have two F5 Trail version and trying to configure HA failover but on status it is showing "Disconnected" Question is does Trial version support HA Failover? I google it but not get concrete answer from anywhere. Does anyone just tell me whether it is supported or not so i stopped hitting my head against wall. BIG-IP 11.3.0 Build 39.0 VE Trial 11.3.0-HF1 (based on BIGIP 11.3.0HF6)
