MS OWA not working after deploying ASM

Hi all,

i have applied ASM Policy template for OWA Exchange every thing works perfect but MS outlook is not working.

event log that all exchange.asmx and rpcproxy.dll that with cookies outlook session returns back with response code 401 and action not accepted although that it is legal traffic.

any idea??

so for example owa works but the outlook full client doesnt?

check the ASM event log, is traffic blocked?

no traffic not blocked, traffic is legal but outlook sessions returns with response code 401 and not accepted.

for reference which version tmos (big-ip) and exchange?

how did you set this up? did you have exchange load balanced via an iApp or manual?

how did you now enable ASM? via which template option?

via iApp and i have used F5 ASM template for exchange 2016. i have found an artical saying that RPC is originally binary traffic and it should be excluded from ASM so i made iRule to excluded RPC over HTTP traffic then it works perfect.
