I have a GTM and LTM that are sync'd and exchanging iQuery. I configured a Virtual server on the GTM that doesn't exist on the LTM for load balancing, but when I look at my firewall logs the health checks are coming from the LTM, rather than the GTM (even though it is not configured on the LTM). I remove the Virtual server on the GTM and the health checks on my firewall stop. I was wondering if anyone has seen this before.
Is there a way to not have it monitor for hosts that are not associated to the LTM. It is a bit of a potential issue for me. I don't want this host that is not behind a LTM to be dependent on monitoring from the LTM to determine if it is up/down.
