Input drops on interface

Hello,

I have a lot of input drops in every interface connecting to my Cisco Catalyst 3550 and the counters is incrementing constantly. I have checked the switch and there aren't any errors. Also I have checked the cabling and it is ok.

This is happening in my lab environment. Is there any special type of packet that the BIG IP always drops by default? Is there any way to know which packets are being dropped? Any advice?

Thanks in advance,

  • Hello,

both sides are working in "auto". Maybe is better to hardcode the speed&duplex?

      Hi Ruben,

were you able to check this? we are also experiencing this, although AFM, we are receiving drop packets on the TMM interface. we also tried doing the hardcode of speed and duplex.

      thank you
