Has nPath routing caused any problems?
I have nPath routing implemented to load balance 2 windows print servers. Both print servers have loopback adapters installed with VIP as the IP for the loopback adapters.
I checked the routing table on those servers and the loopback adapter has a higher metric ( metric value of 30) compared to the ethernet adapter which has a metric of 20.
The server guys are telling me that having the same VIP address on both servers loopback adapter is causing some issues like netbios services. The netbios services goes down and the printer cannot be accessed using the name etc. Has anyone seen this?
