GTM_difference bash vs tmos

Hi F5 community

by mistake I typed the shutdown command in CLI in tmos mode and I lost the hand on the equipment.

For this I have questions please:

• what is the difference between the two mode tmos and bash
• why as on other technology and supplier,it did not confirm the action and took it directly into consideration.
• When the box is in standby, can it be accessed via console to reboot it without moving to the site and pressing the box button?
• is that there is a mode with less privilege (for example does not allow config execution)
