Form Based Authentication

Hi,

 

I had setup F5 Radius authentication and it works. The issue we are facing is, for each request made by user, F5 authenticates the user (by storing users userid/password in a persistence profile). Is it possible to configure F5 so that, it contacts RADIUS server during the initial authentication and for subsequent requests, it uses some encrypted COOKIE or HASH-CODE etc and not contact RADIUS server unless the user session is expired/timed out or the COOKIE is missing/lost.

 

 

I would appreciate any help to resolve this issue.

    HEllo,

     

    i have the same issue. But we are using dynamic password like Safeword or SecureID. the page will never be displayed because for each http request you need to re-enter your username and a new password.

     

    If BIG IP is working like this, you will never be able to use strong authentication.

     

    Hope someone has a solution to use BIG IP V9.x with dynamic password!!!
