Configure classless subnet as iRules datagroup

Hello,

It looks like TMOS v13 is not supporting the use of classless subnets as datagroup ( e.g a /22 CIDR for example )

Why is that ?

  • Hi Nicols4s,

When you say it doesn't support it do you mean you've tried creating one and it didn't work or it allowed you to input it but it's not functioning? Are you making sure to specifically use an address datagroup?

I just tested in a v13 lab and it seems to work using an address group and 10.20.30.0/24.

      Hi Andrew,

I'm running 12.1.2 and I'm trying to create a datagroup with a subnet. I choose Address as the type and under Records in the address field I put 172.16.16.0/20. After I add it when I click Finish, the F5 says Invalid IP Address. The context help states "The format for an IPv4 address is a.b.c.d:<port>, for example, 172.16.254.1:443." How do I create a datagroup to match against a subnet in my version of code?
