blocking macros in Excel

Hi All,

Could you please help me to block macros in Excel using any method in F5 such as iRule, in fact i need to add a file type .xlsx but we have to make sure that macros are already blocked by F5.

Hi @kaoutar15, can you give me more details? Are you trying to block an upload of files with excel extensions that support macros (like .xlam, .xlsm, .xltm, .xlw) or downloads from servers to clients? The BIG-IP cannot impact the actual execution of the excel application wrt to macros.
