Authentication issue when changing password

Please see below screenshot. After F5 bootup, I enter default login name root and password default at the first red arrow, then as prompted, I typied a new password at the second red arrow. but I do not know why it shows Authentication failure, so that I cannot go ahead to next step.  Anyone can show experience on this? Thank you in advatage

Hi davidy2001,

You must enter "default" (current password) at the second red arrow. Then it will ask you to enter the new password.
