APM Network Access Launch an Application/Map Drive with MacOS

I am trying to accomplish 2 things with a Apple MacOS.

1. map a drive automatically. I am able to do this manually using an Application URI webtop link . The user can just click on the link in the webtop and safari will map the drive. smb://%{session.sso.token.last.username}:%{session.sso.token.last.password}@Server/Share
2. I would like to also Launch an application automatically. For testing I want to start up the terminal app. I have tried a number of options with no luck.

Does anyone have any examples they can share for mapping a drive or Launching an Application with a MAC?
