Hello,
I have a DNS and found Alerts on the log that says:
gtm | 2022-12-14 07:45:49.000 +01:00 | Alert | 011a2003: gtm1.hamza.ma gtmd[15209] SNMP_TRAP: Link /Common/ISP1 (ip=213.218.10.192) state change green --> yellow (Link limit(s) exceeded on GTM) |
gtm | 2022-12-14 07:46:19.000 +01:00 | Alert | 011a2002: gtm1.hamza.ma gtmd[15209] SNMP_TRAP: Link /Common/ISP1 (ip=213.218.10.192) state change yellow --> green |
This happens every minute.
Could anyone please clarify what this means?

Hi Hamza,
I suspect you have a link (ISP1) configured in the DNS module (DNS - GSLB - Links) that is configured with very small limits. Probably every minute when some synchronization or other job happens, that limit is reached and temporarily marks the link as Yellow.
I would suggest looking at the utilization of the datacenter links and see if either the links are overloaded, or the limits are too low.
Hope this helps.

Hi @AlexBCT,
Thank you.
Could you explain what you meant by limit?
Normely, if limit of a link means the bandwidth, my link is good.
However, please how can i change this limit of the link ?
Regards.

Dropping a note to make sure @AlexBCT sees the follow-up question above, since holiday craziness has been A Thing for most people over the past few weeks. 🙂
