I have a DNS and found Alerts on the log that says:
|gtm||2022-12-14 07:45:49.000 +01:00||Alert||011a2003: gtm1.hamza.ma gtmd SNMP_TRAP: Link /Common/ISP1 (ip=184.108.40.206) state change green --> yellow (Link limit(s) exceeded on GTM)|
|gtm||2022-12-14 07:46:19.000 +01:00||Alert|
011a2002: gtm1.hamza.ma gtmd SNMP_TRAP: Link /Common/ISP1 (ip=220.127.116.11) state change yellow --> green
This happens every minute.
Could anyone please clarify what this means?
I suspect you have a link (ISP1) configured in the DNS module (DNS - GSLB - Links) that is configured with very small limits. Probably every minute when some synchronization or other job happens, that limit is reached and temporarily marks the link as Yellow.
I would suggest looking at the utilization of the datacenter links and see if either the links are overloaded, or the limits are too low.
Hope this helps.
Could you explain what you meant by limit?
Normely, if limit of a link means the bandwidth, my link is good.
However, please how can i change this limit of the link ?
Dropping a note to make sure @AlexBCT sees the follow-up question above, since holiday craziness has been A Thing for most people over the past few weeks. 🙂
