I ran nmap cipher script to validate what the virtual sever was sending a client session. I'll follow up on that ticket and if I had an invalid test. If thats the case, I will ensure the impact of this issue. I'll revalidate the test and steps I used and report back on this.
I also agree with your assertion that this could be a security issue if a cipher list was updated but application endpoints were not tested to validate. This would be the correct argument to have this remedied in the software.
