Windows 8 RDP
So we are having an issue where certain people can RDP into their VMs and some can't.
We have two users who have Windows 7 and Windows 8 home systems (client). They can establish a connection to the APM and login. Once they log in they are assigned their company device and resolves correctly in DNS and displays their device.
When looking at the Reports, it is resolving their IP correctly of their company PC (pcw8jdoe). When they click on their computer, the RDP session begins and just sits there at connecting for about 10-15 seconds then the screen closes. I have the resolution set at 90% of desktop. I even tried changing it 800x600 resolution.
This seems to be a hit or miss solution. Anyone experience this

Does the user get logged in at all, or does it cancel out before they get the desktop?
You may want to try enabling a higher level of logging for Portal Resource to see if you can get some better logging. From the GUI, System >> Logs >> Configuration, and you could change the Portal Access (Access Policy may help as well, but I can't remember for sure) value to Debug (note that this could generate a lot of debug data, so you wouldn't want to leave it on for long if you have a lot of connections to the device).
Then have the user try to access their desktop and look at the session report for the session and see if there's any APM logs that might be helpful (or any LTM logs for that matter).
I've had some issues with RDS in our environment, though it's mostly been attempted connections that time out connecting to the back end server.
