Will the Eventd deamon be responsible only for LTM events be logged throught the eventd.xml ?

Eventd monitors changes in the core configuration engine (mcpd). There are some modules that don't use mcpd (primarily the security products like ASM). If you look at the entries in the Management.EventSubscription.EventType enum you should be able to see all the types of events you can subscribe to. In that list I see EVENTTYPE_GTMD so you should be able to get triggered on GTM changes.
