Will the Certificate work???

HI Folks,

 

I recently ordered one SSL certificate for website Now application team asked me that certificate should have VISIT in small. Will I need to reorder the certificate or the same (with VISIT) in Capital will work. Please guide.

    SSL certificate CNs aren't case sensitive (good X.509v3 implementation shouldn't be). Googling, you can see that some specific clients had some bug which turned case sensitiveness. AFAIK it never happened with standard browsers. I think you can keep this certificate.

    That certificate should work as long as the host name in the URL matches the certificate common name of subject alt name.
