WideIP Virtual Servers and Pool offline in GTM/DNS but online in LTM on BIGIPv12 Virtual Edition

Hi

 

Struggling to identify the cause of why Virtual Servers and Pools defined on LTM are Online but when creating WideIP Virtual Servers (same IPs but different object names) and Pool in DNS(GTM) then it stays offline. My virtual edition (LTM and GTM) are setup in standalone mode only on the same installation. Any suggestions to what could be the cause and suggested fix please ? Many Thanks

    If Existing VIPs are working well then try to delete wideip config n recreate once again. Hope ping n telnet is working well from GTM.

    I created the missing GSLB server object for the BIGIP itself which has fixed the issue.. Thanks

    Glad I could help.

     

    I isn't necessary to create the ltm VS as gslb server objects. The preferred setup would be: LTM/GTM bigip gslb server, create virtual servers (or enable auto discovery) under the bigip server, those virtual servers in gslb pool.
