Are you logging using log local0. "message"? If so this would be written to /var/local/ltm by default. - Luis_Valle_5601

I'm pretty sure the period after the local0 string is important. Make sure your log statement looks like hoolio noted:
log local0. "message"
I look for the message in /var/log/ltm.
