Which is Alert Timeout default value?

It seems that Alert Timeout default value is "indefinite" in my LTM(16.1.0), but this document say "10 seconds".

Which one is correct ?

My device is wrong default value, or the document is wrong?

 

And then, I want to know recommend settings of the parameter.

Should I configure the value (i.e. 10sec) or not (undefinite) ?
