Which IP connects to the node, the F5 or client?

Client will connect to the vip then big-ip will forward traffic to pool members.

 

Src IP of the egress packet depend on your config. By default src ip is eq to client's IP. If you use automap then src IP is ip of egress floating-ip address If you are using snat then IP from snat pool
