Where is the "settings" functionality for APM Citrix?
In the Citrix Netscaler there is a section where the user can configure the behavior of the Citrix connection ie:

This page. Does anything like this exist in F5 APM?

Hi Benjamin,
First of all, I believe you refer to Citrix Web Interface site settings rather than Netscaler. Netscaler does not have these settings.
The answer depends on how you use APM. You can use APM in the following two modes:
- APM integrates with Web Interface. In this mode you configure the settings in the same place - at Web Interface. All settings are supported.
- APM replaces Web Interface. In this mode APM either uses pre-configured settings or takes settings from Citrix XML Brokers.
In the latter case:
- Logoff behavior. As a security device, APM always disconnects user's sessions when user logs out from APM
- Reconnect button. There is no reconnect button on APM Webtop (APM-hosted web site that replaces Citrix Web Interface site). User just needs to start any application on APM Webtop and his disconnected applications will be reconnected.
- Native Client is used by default unless you configure APM to use HTML5 client. APM Webtop does Automatic Client Detection similar to Web Intrface
- Window size. APM always uses seamless as the de-facto best user-experience option.
- APM also supports custom settings that you can configure via Citrix resource.

Thank you for the quick response and you are correct, I am referring to the Citrix Web Interface. You've answered my question sir, thanks again!

how can the citrix web interface determine that the session is being handled by the F5 APM as a gateway? Does the F5 APM present itself as a NetScaler Access Gateway so we could use the same logic? We need to set a different policy for those users coming in remotely via F5 APM. I could also see an advantage in the future for it to provie more refined information if the F5 was supporting more than one access method, for example. thanks.
