Where can I download the Installation guide?

I talked to some different folks and they will make sure that all WebAccelerators have all of the pieces that you need. If you ever lose the CD with the manuals, you can find them https://tech.f5.com/home/webaccelerator/index.html .

Hi Joe -

 

 

I downloaded the latest WA_PolicyMgmtGuide_943.pdf from the URL you mentioned before. However this is only ~2MB whereas the old version for v5.x was 6MB+.

 

 

Now, I'm all for specific & compact docs, but the new one clearly seems to lack some information. E.g. it refers to an Appendix about the ESI language which I can't find.

 

 

Does this information now sit in a separate doc - if yes, where can I find it?

The ESI documentation was pulled out of the WA_PolicyMgmtGuide_943.pdf and was updated separately. Are you using ESI in your deployment? Log a quick support case and then email me the case number at j.hicks @ f5.com (remove the spaces) and I will send the ESI docs to you if you haven't already found them on AskF5. It would be great to get your feedback on the revised ESI docs and to hear more about how you are using ESI. You can post more about your use of ESI here or in an email to me.
