When i hit node directly, i get the redirect from the server. When i go thru the VIP, the redirect does not get back to the browser. How can i test?

Can you please share more specific on the issue. When you say you can't get login page using VIP, does it meaning using the IP, or when using the proper FQDN....In the both the cases the issue can be not proper VIP configuration of the F5.
