What's different btwn. iControl Services Manager & iCont

Is iControl Services Manager implemented completely built on iControl when it interfaces to a device of BIG-IP/3DNS?

    Yes, iControl Services Manager uses iControl to remotely communicate with the family of F5 devices. iSMan uses a secure/encrypted CORBA connection between itself and the device.
