what is the main difference between persistence and one connect.

what is the main difference between persistence and one connect.   Because what i came to know from Internet, both seems to be same.

what will happen if we use oneconnect and persistence in https VIP.

 

with clientssl and http profiles, oneconnect does per request load balancing and also reuse server-side (between bigip and server) connection. that means each http request in one tcp connection can be load balanced to different pool member.

 

persistence makes bigip to send request to pool member which client was load balanced to.
