Nimbostratuswhat is Iface in arp (show)
If I show arp for an address it's associated Iface is vlan_interanl~9 I am trying to understand what that refers to?

you probably have a number of vlans (at least 9) with a long langer, and this is one of those.
when you do ifconfig (not from tmsh) you will see those names also and the IPs.
jkrumenacher_13O.K. makes peferct sense. That matches what I expected.
