Welcome Oracle Users

Welcome to F5's Oracle Focus area on Dev Central! It is with excitement that I and core Oracle Solution Engineering, Product Management Engineering, Solution Center and DevCentral teams launch our first community effort specifically around Oracle. I cannot think of a better time as Oracle attempts to merge another technology leader, BEA, into its already impressive portfolio of acquisitions.

 

For the past 6 years F5 and Oracle have collaborated to bring innovative joint architectures solutions to Oracle Technology and Application environments. It has been almost a decade now that Oracle as a customer has been combining our leading technology portfolios together. While all these solutions and their supporting materials have been a part of our Solution Center for years it is rewarding to see them "cross the chasm" from the implementer to being an important value to architects, system designers and application architects interest and growing blueprint tool set.

 

As with any blueprint they need to be translated and highlighted for the specific contractor or sub on the job and his or her role and specific problem statement or technology application. And this is where community comes in. You are our contractors and subs and we have invited you to the drafting table to share plans, review your questions, have you add and extend the solutions through you ideas and our open APIs and scripting engines. Lastly, I hope we can expand our collective knowledge around Application Delivery Networking and the Oracle Technology and enterprise Applications they service.
