Nov 24, 2014I beleive with Web Acceleration enabled compression is then controlled by the web acceleration policy. It would depend on the object type your interesting traffic would be classified under and the leaf node it matched in the web acceleration policy Policy >Web Acceleration> Assembly is where the compression would be enabled or not. what types of files are they and what is the mime type and which Web Acceleration Pre-defined Acceleration Policies "parent profile" did you use?

the pre-defined Acceleration Policies "parent profile" that i am using doesn't really matter b/c i am re-configuring it anyway on my profile which already worked without the compression profile the Content Compression include the following default list: "text/ , Application/(xml|x-javascript) and i am trying to check compression on *.aspx and *.html files. the iis also has zip compression. i checked a couple of files that are not configured in both profile's uri lists and it looks like it removed the gzip from this files aswell.
