VMware Horizon View
I am working on a solution that would load balance our VDI network. The BIG-IP will use APM for AD authentication since there will be no security servers. The business is also wanting to use a form of two factor authentication, but I cant find any articles on best practices for two factor and BIG-IP apps, or more specifically VDI and two factor.
Anyone else using a form of two factor and APM that does the job really well?
Thanks

Hi Jim,
Latest View iApp support 2 FA for View (RSA only). You can use this iAPP to make it works easily.
For non-VDI apps, 2 factor is used as New Logon Page. I mean, you chain logon pages in order to request login / pass on the first (make your AAA check) and show a second Logon page for OTP (RSA, InWebo, SafeNet ...). You can merge both of them in one Logon page with 3 fields (login, pass, OTP).
Hope this help. Matt

Thanks Matt.
I think I am using the latest iApp (f5.vmware_view_optimized_solution.v1.2.0) but honestly I dont see options for RSA. That said, honestly this is my first time using APM for an application. So there is a learning curve I'm trying to overcome. Thanks for your feedback.

I am using the deploy guide and oddly, my screen does not have the RSA SecurID section. I even expanded it with "advanced"

Delete the Template and reimport it. Stupid question :
- Do you see this APM part in the iAPP ?
- have you provisioned APM module ?
