VM Server error message

I recognize the VM Server is not supported by F5, but I have seen some posts that people have had success. I am getting the following error message on a pop-up screen at the admin login screen on a new VE turn-up.

 

 

"The BIG-IP system has encountered a configuration problem that may prevent the Configuration utility from funtion properly."

 

 

It goes on to state that it is recommended that I should back up my configs, etc, etc. I can continue from there and login in. I was able to successfully activate the trial license. When I arrived at the Resource Provisioning Screen, an error at the top of the screen says

 

 

"0107100e:3: The standalone module (ltm) cannot be provisioned on this platform (Z99)".

 

 

At this point I am unable to continure because I can't select a resource to provision. Any ideas? I appreciate any advise. I will probably go ahead and redownload the application and try it on a different Guest O/S.
