VLAN HA

i was configuring vcmp guests and in the initial setup it asks to configure vlan HA. is that enough just to create the VLAN HA during setup or do i need cable connecting the two big-ip and use that i...

If the HS VLAN has layer 2 (ethernet) connectivity to the peer device, then this should be fine. Make sure on connected switches that any VLANS configured on the F5 is permitted on the 802.1q VLAN/Trunk/LACP connection.

 

You can also use dedicated cables if both units are in close proximity and you have dedicated a physical interface for this purpose
