vlan failsafe

Hi Experts,

 

We ve a pair of F5's in HA mode, carrying 100s of vlans. F5 pair is in Active-Standby mode. Vlan failsafe is enabled on each of the vlan.

 

Question is - if one of the vlan is removed without removing failsafe on it, failover will trigger or not? If not, why not?

    What do you mean by removed? Removed from the F5, or removed from the downstream switch? If you remove it from the downstream switch, yes, failover will trigger.
