Vista x64 - getting "Error downloading required components (0xffffff)"

Hi,

 

 

I am able to log into our F5 firewall using Windows Vista x64, but lately I am getting "Error downloading required components (0xffffff)" when I click on "IT SSL VPN" which is the final step to get in. I had this working in Vista x64 before (but had to switch from Norton to Avast) to get it to work. Using FF3.05 but having the same issue in IE7. Please help. I've tried removing all F5 active components, folders in Program files, using the Remove Components tool, etc to no avail. Our security administrator says that vista x64 is not supported, even though I may have gotten it to work in the past. A recent update on the F5 box started causing these issues -before it was working fine.
