I would like to know the main different between F5 Virtual and Hardware Appliance
AND is there any limitation in L7 Virtual Appliance

- L7 is not very specific. You'll hit a limit on a VE before a hardware appliance due to performance for sure. Regarding throughput, you can go up to 10GB from TMOS 11.5 onwards on ESX. http://www.f5.com/pdf/products/big-ip-virtual-editions-datasheet.pdf Otherwise, you could have CCU limitations for APM, or SSL TPS limits based on your license for instance. Best is to speak with your F5 Account Team to discuss licensing if there are any limitations there.
